Real Madrid team news
David Alaba remains out of contention, since he was one of three long-term absentees for Carlo Ancelotti this season. However, the other two Thibaut Courtois and Eder Miltao are available for selection again, should the Italian boss wish.
Other than Alaba, there is one more injury concern for Ancelotti to ponder and that is Aurelien Tchouameni. The Frenchman has missed two matches for Real Madrid so far and according to Sports Mole, he is expected to miss the remainder of La Liga action with an eye on a return for the Champions League final.
Alaves team news
The good news for the visiting side is that Samu Omorodion is due to return from suspension, so he is available for selection once again. However, Alaves do have one injury to ponder and that is Aleksandar Sedlar, who will not be available for this match
Predicted Real Madrid vs Alaves lineups
Predicted Real Madrid lineup vs Alaves: Lunin; Carvajal, Rudiger, Militao, Mendy; Valverde, Camavinga, Kroos; Guler; Diaz, Vinicius
Predicted Alaves lineup vs Real Madrid: Sivera; Tenaglia, Abqar, Marin, J Lopez; Benavidez, Guevara; Vicente, Guridi, Simeone; Kike Garcia
Real Madrid vs Alaves prediction
As mentioned, this game is secondary to Real Madrid. They have already lifted the La Liga title and they have a Champions League final to prepare for at the beginning of June. However, I still cannot see Ancelotti lifting his foot off the pedal.
With a rotated side, Real Madrid are still the clear favourites given their form. I will go with Real Madrid 3-1 Alaves.
