Real Madrid want to sign £45 million Liverpool target
Real Madrid are in need of a centre-back, for the short-term and the long-term. With David Alaba suffering a torn ACL in the previous game, the Austrian has been ruled out for the rest of the season. Eder Militao had suffered an ACL tear in the very first match of the La Liga campaign. That has left Carlo Ancelotti's side with just two centre-backs, Antonio Rudiger and Nacho.
The likes of Aurelien Tchouameni and Dani Carvajal can fill in at centre-back if the situation calls for it. But that would not be ideal by any stretch of the imagination.
Thus, fans are hoping that the club sign a centre-back in January. They have had a great season so far but a lack of depth in such a vital position could undo all the great work.
Real Madrid have been linked with quite a few centre-backs in recent days. One of them seems to be on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.

As reported by TEAMtalk, Real Madrid are huge fans of Leny Yoro. The club are currently short on defensive options but could wait until the summer to make an official move. Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are among the clubs chasing the Lille youngster's signature.
Yoro is just 18 years of age but he has already established himself as a regular starter for Lille. The Ligue 1 club are having a pretty good season and are challenging for the Champions League qualification spots.
Lille have one of the best defences in Europe right now as well. Only Nice have conceded fewer goals than them in Ligue 1 this season so far. So, it is not hard to see why Yoro's performances have caught the eye of so many top clubs.
