Valencia agree deal to sign Real Madrid player confirmed
Real Madrid have a fantastic recent record when it comes to identifying, signing and developing youngsters from all around the world. Their world-class recruitment is one of the biggest reasons why Los Blancos have remained one of the best teams on the planet even though they have not exactly splashed out when it comes to transfers in recent years.
While Real Madrid have earned a lot of plaudits for their recruitment, the same cannot be said about their ability to promote Castilla standouts to the first-team. Very few have been able to make that jump in recent years.
Quite a few have left and proven themselves elsewhere. And it looks like another one of Castilla's brightest talents is on the verge of leaving.
The youngster will remain in Spain. As tweeted by Fabrizio Romano, Raul confirmed that Valencia have agreed a deal to sign Peter Gonzalez on loan with a buy option from Real Madrid.

Peter was one of Real Madrid's best performers at the Castilla level. He even was successful in breaking into the first-team picture and making a few appearances for the senior team.
He was not in and around the first-team on a consistent basis though. And at 21 years of age, he was at a point where he needed to leave in order to play regular football somewhere else.
A move to Almeria has done wonders for Sergio Arribas. On the other hand, Rafa Marin is doing a brilliant job on loan at Alaves as well. Could Peter be the next Castilla starlet to leave and prove himself to be a La Liga-level player?
Time shall tell. One thing is for sure though. Real Madrid need to do a much better job when it comes to promoting their youth standouts to the senior team.
