Vinicius Jr is the favourite to win the next Ballon d'Or. Ideally, you would expect there to be nothing but positive news about him in the media after the 23/24 campaign that he enjoyed, guiding Real Madrid to a Champions League and La Liga double. Instead, it looks like there is a lot of uncertainty around his future at Santiago Bernabeu as things stand.

The combination of Vinicius and Kylian Mbappe has not looked the most fluid at the start of the season. And that has had an effect on their output going forward.

Real Madrid have scored just 9 goals in the league so far this season, compared to Barcelona's 17. Also, four of Los Blancos' last five goals have come from the penalty spot. Two each from Vinicius and Mbappe.

Add to that the rumours that he has not turned down an astronomical offer from the Saudi Pro League and the situation surrounding Vinicius' future is not ideal. And now, it looks like something more has been added to that mix.

According to Cadena SER reporter Antonio Meana (via Football Transfers), it's thought that members of the Real Madrid staff feel his conduct must improve and they want him to focus solely on football. The report also states that the Brazil winger "is feeling increasingly lonely at the club, feeling he no longer has the support he used to enjoy." It seems that his representatives feel that his only ally now is Carlo Ancelotti.

Of course, Vinicius recently made some comments about the 2030 World Cup being held in Spain. Those did not go down well.

One cannot deny the problems that Vinicius has had to face during his time playing in Spain. And if the situation does not improve, his time in Madrid might come to an end sooner than anybody expected.
