Vinicius Junior was heavily booed during Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Levante and his response is reportedly that he doesn't want to play where he's not welcome. This has re-ignited talk of the Brazilian winger potentially making way this summer.
The 25-year-old was jeered by supporters who clearly felt he was to blame for Xabi Alonso's dismissal. He was spotted getting emotional before the game had even kicked off as he prepared to be whistled by thousands of Madridistas.
A potential summer exit was already being talked about in Spain amid not just problems behind the scenes but also on the pitch. If he is to depart it seems one of Europe's biggest clubs are prepared to swoop.
Premier League clubs eyeing Vinicius amid fan backlash
Vinicius didn't acknowledge fans after the win over Levante and instead chose to go straight down the tunnel. Alvaro Arbeloa, the Brazilian's new caretaker manager, defended the player and insisted he has a long future at the Bernabeu.
But there are claims in England as far back as December that the Premier League could be Vinicius' destination if he leaves Madrid. TEAMtalk transfer insider Graeme Bailey reported that Liverpool are one of the English sides keen on signing him.
Vinicius might be viewed as a Mohamed Salah replacement with the Egyptian forward's future up in the air. But a move to Anfield might not be his only option if he doesn't extend his contract which expires in 2027.

Chelsea and Manchester City have also shown interest in the winger, and a move to England is under consideration. Intermediaries are believed to have told the reporter's sources that Vinicius is open to moving to the Premier League.
Liverpool seems likeliest for Vinicius

Of the three clubs who are eyeing Vinicius it makes the most sense for him to join Liverpool. Salah needs replacing sooner rather than later and he's already been dropped this season.
There are claims that while Madrid don't intend to sell their Brazilian attacker in January, a move to Anfield in the summer could be on the cards. It's suggested that this will occur if he doesn't bounce back into form.
Arbeloa's comments suggest the club want him to stay put and extend his stay at the Bernabeu. He's been with the club since the summer of 2018 and enjoyed huge success including scoring goals in finals of the Champions League.
Vinicius has appeared 29 times across competitions this season, scoring six goals and providing eight assists. But he endured an 18-game goal drought before scoring in the 3-2 defeat to Barcelona in the Supercopa final earlier this month.
