Real Madrid have some bold plans in mind when it comes to building their squad for next season. The club has some of the best players in the world on their transfer list and seem prepared to do anything it takes to sign any given player this summer. However, for Real Madrid there's one player on their list that they view above all the rest and unfortunately for Los Blancos the door has been slammed completely shut on any possible move.

As being reported by MadridXtra on X, Real Madrid's big dream internally this summer is to sign Vitinha from PSG, however the Parisian's won't sell him no matter what. Los Blancos view the Portuguese midfielder as the answer to all their problems but unfortunately the only way he'll play for Real Madrid is if you sign him in FIFA.

Real Madrid's Vitinha dream just isn't gonna happen

It goes without saying why Real Madrid view Vitinha so highly and he more likely than not would be the fix to all the midfield issues the team is having as he almost the exact same profile Toni Kroos as the man Real has struggled to replace two years on from his retierment. He's calm and composed on the ball, makes the right pass and the smart pass, and has a passing range that can cover almost the entire pitch. And at the same time it makes perfect sense why PSG would never consider selling him.

Since arriving at PSG Vitinha has established himself as one of the best, and in some people's eyes the best midfielder in the world. He is arguably PSG's most important player and the glue that holds their midfield together, and is one of the cornerstone pieces in the dynasty Luis Enrique is building in Paris, so PSG not wanting to sell him makes perfect sense.

The question also has to be asked, why would Vitinha want to leave a winning team like PSG to come and join a project at Real Madrid, where winning major silverware hasn't been a thing for the last two seasons. He has the prospect of winning back to back to back Champions League's on the horizon at PSG where as the only winning that will happen at Real Madrid next season will be if Jose Mourinho somehow manages to sort out the dressing room.

So while on paper Vitinha ticks all the boxes that would make him the next great Real Madrid midfielder, the only way he'll play at the Bernabeu next season is if Real Madrid and PSG play each other in the Champions League. It goes without saying that every Madridista would welcome his signing with open arms but unfortunately it's not going to happen any time soon if ever.
