As the 2026 summer transfer window comes to a close and with Real Madrid not expected to make any new signings, it's time to take stock of the current squad as the 2026/27 La Liga season gets under way. Here are the five most valuable players on Real Madrid, ranked in order of transfer value.

5. LW Vinicius Junior

Vinicius Junior is in the same boat as Kylian Mbappe. He is on huge wages, he is a massive name who should be the best in the world, and yet he is very disappointing and has not been giving his best to the team. With limited resale value and suitors, Vini is not more valuable than Yan Diomande on the open market these days. He can shoot back up to being Real's second most valuable, but it will take better performances across a full season for that to happen.

4. ST Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe is the biggest name on the team, but he is 27 and has no resale value. He also has insane wages. Nobody would actually buy him on the transfer market if he were to be sold, as many teams would not afford his salary, would not want his ego, or would have serious reservations with PSG winning the Champions League twice without him - and Real Madrid not even winning La Liga since his arrival. He has a lot to prove.

3. AM Arda Guler

Arda Guler is only 21 yet is already the best creator in world football, having led everyone in the Champions League in chances created last season despite often not playing his best position. As he transitions into more of a midfield general for Real Madrid, his value will only rise. Lately, you can make a stronger case that he has been the team's second best player after Jude Bellingham.

2. RW Yan Diomande

It may seem blasphemous to value Yan Diomande higher than Kylian Mbappe, but he is eight years younger and was one of the three best players in the Bundesliga, behind only Ballon d'Or favorites Harry Kane and Michael Olise. He is intelligent, insanely athletic, and highly technical. Value is about projecting the future and how a player helps a team win; Diomande can be Real's answer to Lamine Yamal on the wing.

1. CM Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham is by far the most valuable player on Real Madrid, with all due respect to the other players. He is only 23 yet he is one of the best players in the world and carried England to a World Cup semifinal and a European Championship Final in his young career while nearly winning the Pichichi Trophy in his first season at Real Madrid. The last time Real built their team around him, they won the two biggest titles and have won nothing since. He is the best midfielder in the world, the most complete player in the world, and the only one who can challenge Lamine Yamal blow for blow.
