PSG have gone back to back, but they are one of the weakest back to back Champions League winners ever. They barely scraped by Arsenal in a penalty shootout and were uimpressive in Ligue 1, only just outpacing underdogs Lens to win the weakest league in European football.
5. Manchester City, 2023
Thanks to Erling Haaland, Manchester City won the treble and finally took home the Champions League in 2023, but while they were a great team, they were not as talented or as dominant in their campaign as the other teams on this list.
4. Real Madrid, 2024
The 2023/24 version of Real Madrid benefited from a weaker field, including Borussia Dortmund in the Final, but they still had their fair share of challenges, including the Joselu fueled victory over Bayern Munich in the semifinals. And in La Liga, Real Madrid were beyond dominant, never threatened by neither Barcelona nor their best challengers that season, Girona. 3. PSG, 2025
PSG's 2025 Champions League title was admittedly a masterpiece, and the way they dominated both Arsenal and Inter Mlian en route to capturing the title was nothing short of exemplary. They defended well, controlled games with ease, and had one of the deepest and most talented attacks in world football around a resurgent Ousmane Dembele as the Ballon d'Or. This was Luis Enrique proving everything he said about Kylian Mbappe right and making himself the real Champions League legend in the process with his second career title win.
2. Real Madrid, 2022
Yes, there were more stacked teams from a talent perspective and clubs that won games more easily, but for the quality of opposition they faced and the heart that they showed, the 2021/22 Real Madrid side is one of the most lovable and one of the most talented of the last 20 years of this competition. Los Blancos beat PSG, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool in a gauntlet of a Champions League knockout stage, and the only thing that prevents them from being ranked higher was the fact that they didn't truly incapacitate their opposition.

Hansi Flick's 2019/2020 Bayern Munich is one of the greatest teams in modern football, ripping apart opponents with such a ferocity that even Real Madrid fans cannot deny what a monster side they were. Their players were in insane physical condition at a time when the pandemic started and everyone was reeling. As their 8-2 win over Barcelona showed, they were dead set on embarrassing teams, never letting off the gas pedal with a pressing style, a dominance in possession, and a ruthlessness in front of goal that has never been seen since.
