Real Madrid fans have been quite annoyed with some of their players over the last couple of seasons. Eduardo Camavinga is certainly the one player who pops up in these conversations more than others.
Everyone knows that he is talented, which is exactly why they get really mad at him. Because he never really understands his talent. He never really realizes his talent, but he also never learns to believe in the club for a better player to take his place in the squad.
Now, some of that is also true for Raul Asencio, who at the moment is getting the same exact treatment that Camavinga has gotten over the last year or so.

Asencio is currently going through an injury, which will keep him out for a few weeks, and according to some reports, the shin problem that he had last season is coming back, which could require another few weeks out for the Spanish defender.
Fans were really mad about Camavinga always getting injured as well, and everyone wanted him gone despite his reluctance to stay.
At the moment, Asencio is pretty similar, because fans in the comments of these reports have shown their disapproval of the defender, and they want him to leave the club as soon as possible. At least, some of them do.
He is a good defender, and there is no doubt about it, but some of his actions on and off the pitch, as well as some of the injury concerns that fans have for him, and just his reluctance to leave the club despite a lot of the fan base and the club wanting him to, shows that it is slowly taking precedence among the fans.
Now, this is obviously a very difficult position for Asencio;, because he would not really want to leave the club of his life, because he would never actually get a chance to play for a club as big as Real Madrid ever again.
However, I mean, fans are arguing this is for the betterment of the team, which is why they wanted him gone.
Now, if he's staying and he's still not playing for such a long time, then there isn't really a point of him staying.
This is the entire thing that fans are arguing online, because they want to see the value in the players that they are keeping. But if that is no longer there, then there is no point in those players also being there.
It remains to be seen what ends up happening in these last few days, but it does not seem like Asencio will be leaving the club anytime soon.
The fans will have to follow their anger and hope that Asencio is able to find his best form and recover from his injuries as soon as possible.
