Nobody is untouchable at Real Madrid. If there is one lesson the Madridistas have learned to take to heart this season with all the in fighting and disappointing individual performances from the superstars down to the role players, then it is the simple fact that no single person can be above the badge at this point.

Amidst accusations that he has gone soft, president Florentino Perez looked like the fiery "Presi" of old at an impromptu press conference, and while his commentary may have seemed like the bizarre ramblings of an elder statesman, to the Madridistas, Perez's words were something of a battle cry and a sign that the man is not going down swinging.

So everyone, including his beloved players like Kylian Mbappe, can consider themselves put on notice. Everyone needs to perform with Jose Mourinho coming in, and since Mourinho is probably going to get the full reign of the locker room that he is demanding, if Mbappe, Fede Valverde, Vinicius Junior, Alvaro Carreras, or anyone else does not want to shape up and listen, someone else will be there to take his place.

Endrick has Mbappe watching his back

For Mbappe, despite his prodigious talent and the backing he has from Perez, he has to be aware that Real Madrid already signed a player who is ticketed up to be his replacement whenever they feel that day has come.

That young man would be Endrick, because by the time the 27 year old Mbappe's contract officially ends in 2029, Endrick will still only be 23 years old to start the following season. And by then, he will have a handful of years of experience at the top level of European football.

Endrick will be back in the Real Madrid first team next season. Though he was discarded early on by former manager Xabi Alonso, he is just as much a Florentino Perez darling as anyone else and someone Juni Calafat and the actual upper brass of Real Madrid believes in. With Alonso gone and Endrick having already proven his quality at Lyon in a few short months, there is nothing standing in the left footed Brazilian phenom's way.

So if Kylian Mbappe decides he's not going to play defense, be a mole, or cause any other issues and cost Real Madrid games, there is Endrick right there to replace him. Los Merengues are stronger when they are together, and if they sense Mbappe is still not with the program, Endrick is better than any new signing.
