Real Madrid have already purchased four top players in the summer transfer window this year. Denzel Dumfries, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate, and Marc Cucurella were all crucial to their clubs succeses over the last few years, and they are now Madridistas after Florentino Perez worked quickly to secure these Jose Mourinho picks for the returning legend in the manager's seat.

But with how poor Real Madrid were in the past few seasons, Mourinho understandably wants more upgrades, particularly in the midfield. Young guns like Mateus Fernandes, Ayyab Bouaddi, and Adam Wharton are on their radar, while an established star like Enzo Fernandez of Chelsea could be brought in, too, perhaps in conjunction with one of the future stars.

Real Madrid, though, are also eyeing potential high profile sales in the middle of the park. Los Blancos already parted ways officially with Dani Ceballos, but that was no surprise. The club had been trying to get rid of the former Real Betis man before, but he reallly sunk to a new low last season by outright disrespecting the club - and playing like straight up garbage along the way.

Real Madrid are ready to make a major sale

Still, Real Madrid are considering an even higher profile sale than Ceballos or Eduardo Camavinga. According to a report from Jose Felix Diaz of Diario AS, via the Madrid Zone, with Real Madrid preparing to make a blockbuster sale in the middle of the park, all the signs point to one of the players involved in that embarrassing alteraction going: either Aurelien Tchouameni or Fede Valverde.

For most Madridistas who actually care about the club, the answer is obvious. Tchouameni has to go. Valverde has been critical in two Champions League titles and several La Liga triumphs, and he is a box to box beast in midfield who can win games on his own, as he showed Manchester City in the Champions League knockouts this season

Tchouameni, on the other hand, has been a waste of space. Real Madrid spent 80 million euros on the best sideways passer in the world who offers no goal threat, no defensive instinct, and some of the most passive attitude in the midfield. If someone attacks his teammate, he stands there, but he will have no problem decking Valverde in the locker room.

With Manchester United and Liverpool surprisingly interested in one of Europe's most overrated No. 6's, Real Madrid should have no trouble making this sale but keeping Fede Valverde around.
