Following the surprise sacking of Xabi Alonso this week, many are questioning who will be the next coach to take the helm at Real Madrid. Alonso was expected to be the man in charge for the long run following Carlo Ancelotti's departure, but the club finds itself back where it was just months ago as it looks for its next head coach.

Alvaro Arbeloa has been appointed as head coach for the time being, but whether or not he'll remain in the long term is still unknown. As a result, the club has been drawing up a list of potential candidates, and one name is coming up far more than others.

Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is the man many believe Real Madrid want to bring in to be their next head coach and lead them back to their glory days. The German won every trophy available during his time at Anfield, and many believe he fits the mould perfectly to be the one at the helm of Los Blancos.

Unfortunately for Real Madrid, the experienced coach seems quite happy with his current role, making any move for him that much more difficult. Klopp currently serves as the Head of Global Soccer for the Red Bull group and doesn't seem interested in a return to coaching just yet. But Madrid might have an ace up its sleeve that could come in handy to persuade the German into joining the club in the summer.

If Real Madrid hope to be successful in bringing Jurgen Klopp to the club, Jude Bellingham and Trent Alexander-Arnold could prove to be crucial parts in persuading him to be the next manager of Los Blancos.

As mentioned earlier, the German has stated that the Real Madrid job doesn't currently interest him going as far as to say:

"It [the Real Madrid job] has nothing to do with me and has not triggered anything in me."

However, Madrid could use their two star players as key bargaining chips to bring the German to Los Blancos. Klopp pushed heavily to sign Jude Bellingham when he was still in charge at Liverpool and has always been a big admirer of the Englishman.

And who could forget the amount of success Klopp achieved at Liverpool with Trent Alexander-Arnold in his team. The fullback was a key player in his system and reuniting the coach with the player is a strong pitch to make when trying to recruit Klopp to join the club.

Whether or not Klopp will replace Alonso at Madrid remains unknown, but at the moment, the signs point to no. But that could all change quickly with one phone call from the English duo, making their pitch to the German to join them at the biggest club in the world.
