Real Madrid were run out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich on Wednesday night, and whenever that happens, especially when it effectively seals another trophyless season for Los Merengues, then you know that the rumor mill is about to rev up.

A sea of changes, potentially starting with manager Alvaro Arbeloa, could be coming this summer transfer window, and Real Madrid fans want to finally see some effort put in by Florentino Perez in upgrading the defense and midfield instead of only focusing on the attack to the detriment of the existing attacking players.

Speaking of which, El Mundo's Abraham P. Romero reports that Real Madrid are not planning on making any big shakeups to their attacking superstars. Real Madrid view the three biggest names of Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe, and Jude Bellingham as untouchable despite the ongoing dysfunction and underperformance, coupled with back to back seasons without a trophy since Mbappe's hyped arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Florentino Perez gives big names a pass

Color Madridistas shocked that Florentino Perez would back his big name superstars to the fullest, and the architect of the old Galacticos project has always been obsessed with collecting elite attacking talent like they were Infinity Stones, long before that verbiage ever reached the average lexicon.

It's clear as day to Real Madrid fans that something is not working with these three. Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe always get in each other's way and are high volume shooters and dribblers with less taem production than they should be having. And Jude Bellingham, though he works hard in the midfield, doesn't seem to be clicking with either of them, even screaming at Vinicius Jr. during the loss to Bayern Munich in the second leg for never releasing the pass.

Real Madrid need to be very worried that Vinicius and Mbappe, in particular, cannot coexist. Everyone was quietly worried about this problem popping up in the future back when the French superstar first signed with Los Merengues in 2024, and now it has indeed reared its ugly head.

Over the past couple of games since Mbappe's return from a knee injury, the product on the pitch has very much suffered for Real Madrid, and the murmurs from the fan base about Vini and Mbappe not working well together are becoming a roar. So to hear that they are completely untouchable will be frustrating, given neither have backed that up on the pitch lately.
