Real Madrid have their second Here We Go of the summer transfer window as they have signed Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth for a fee of around 50 million pounds, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Real Madrid and Dean Huijsen will have a relationship together for the next five years, signing a contract till 2030.

Real Madrid have been dialled in. They have been working on this deal for the last few days, and it has been a while since Real Madrid last signed a player so quickly.

The last time this happened would have been when they signed Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes. It was reported late into the transfer window, and within a day or two, everything was finished and the club got the fabled Here We Go from Romano back in 2022.

Dean Huijsen is perfect for Real Madrid

It has not been as quick as that, but signing Huijsen is a big step in the right direction, and they had to go about it quickly.

There were multiple clubs interested in signing Huijsen this summer. Liverpool,Chelsea, Arsenal, all had shown interest in the Spanish center-back, who had a breakout season at Bournemouth.

If they had not moved so quickly, maybe some other club would have pushed for a transfer.

Saying that, however, it is worth noting that Huijsen is also someone who made everything easier for the club. He agreed to the cntracts and everything really quickly.

He showed that he wanted this move. Huijsen has been waiting for Real Madrid to contact him about a potential transfer for a long time, and he always gave priority to the club he has always been fond of.

Work is not finished, however. Real Madrid still need to reinforce a few positions in the market. They need a left-back, first and foremost. Reports about them wanting to sign a midfielder are prevalent too.

They also have to sort out the futures of many players like David Alaba, Ferland Mendy, Fran Garcia, even Rodrygo. Depending on that, they might need to bring in a few new faces.

Alonso has shown a lot of desire in being involved with transfers, and that is only a good thing for Real Madrid.
