On paper Real Madrid have the best squad in all of Europe. It is filled with world class talent at almost every position on the pitch not only in the starting lineup but also on the bench waiting for their turn to be called.

Players like Vinicius Jr, Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham just to name a few highlight the squad of players that are expected to lead Real Madrid to copious amounts of success for years and years to come.

While the squad is loaded when it comes to the attack and midfield, if the club hopes to establish themselves as the undisputed best team in the world, the defense could use a little patching up going forward.

Real Madrid seem to have the center-backs for the future locked in, however the fullbacks still raise questions at times. There are a number of options the club could look to bring in, and it seems one of the top fullbacks in Europe already has an offer on the table ready to sign.

Liverpool defender has an offer from Real Madrid on the table

As being reported by The Times UK, Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has an offer on the table from Real Madrid as the club look to secure his signature on a free transfer this summer.

The Englishman has been a longtime target of Los Blancos and with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, now could finally be the time Real Madrid sign their long term replacement for Dani Carvajal. Signing Alexander-Arnold on a free transfer follows their strategy of recruiting some of the top available players in Europe without paying a fee.

While it remains to be seen if Alexander-Arnold will accept Real Madrid's offer, one thing is for certain is that the club's proposal will include hefty wages and bonuses that will be hard for the player to turn down. The Liverpool player is close friends with Real Madrid player and fellow Englishman Jude Bellingham which could play a major part in Real Madrid landing the top free agent in the summer.
