Real Madrid is actually even more appealing to Jose Mourinho now

For most managers, such as Xabi Alonso who was fired months ago by the club, seeing the disciplinary issues and friction in the Real Madrid locker room would be reason enough to never want to go to that team. Even the legendary Carlo Ancelotti could not keep his job working with the egoes and the problems behind the scenes, and Alonso and now Alvaro Arbeloa are the next casualties under president Florentino Perez (and Dictator Kylian Mbappe).

Nobody knows who to believe, who to turn to, or what in the media is true or a leak with an ulterior motive from a mole. Jose Mourinho knows a thing or two about playing Whack-A-Mole with respected icons at the Santiago Bernabeu, and though most managers would be scared of all of this, the Portuguese coach has to be licking his chops at what is going down in Madrid.

Mourinho, as a person, loves chaos. He thrives on it. And he does not care about egoes, because he knows he has the most accomplishments in the room. Mou has made a career of setting big stars in line, whether it is Cristiano Ronaldo or Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He can get the most out of any player to the point where they will give up everything for him on that pitch.

Jose Mourinho has everything to gain

For Jose Mourinho, Real Madrid falling apart completely is everything he needed. Now when he comes in as the new manager from the inexperienced Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa, he has nothing to lose. Real Madrid are at rock bottom with no trophies in total dysfunction and looking for a savior. Mourinho can ride in with no expectations.

If he fails and Real Madird implode under the weight of the egoes, he will not be sullied in any way. People will simple say that Mourinho walked into an unsolvable situation, and, if anything, they may even thank Mourinho for his usual final blow up because that just might be what is needed to truly fix Real. They may just need everything blown up after Kylian Mbappe turned all the traditions upside down and corrupted the locker room.

But if Mourinho can save Real Madrid. If he can get Mbappe to play for the team and not just himself whereas literally every other manager failed and if he can reunite this team to complete his unfinished business of Champions League glory from his first stint, then he will have sealed his legacy as the greatest manager of all time. Mou has nothing to lose and everything to gain. He has to be loving what he is seeing.
