They say the nights are quick, but they neglect to mention that the years are much quicker. Only a few years ago, Real Madrid's greatest superstars were making history at the club, winning several trophies and leaving Madridistas with wonderful memories.

But, as time marches on, every good memory must ultimately fade, leaving room to create new ones.

While one of Real Madrid's most recognized players has just lately accepted his departure, his son is well on his way to continuing his father's footballing legacy.

Legendary Real Madrid full-back's son is in a league of his own

Marcelo was one of Real Madrid's finest players of all time. But his son might be the next great thing in the Los Blancos barracks. Enzo Alves, who just signed a contract with Madrid's academy and received much accolades for his football abilities, has been called up to Spain's U17 national squad.

However, this is not a new achievement for the youngster. He was previously called up to Spain U16 as an U15 player, demonstrating how his abilities outperform those his age.

The 2009-born is presently enrolled in Real Madrid Fabrica and has recorded some impressive figures for his age. He presently plays center striker for the Merengues and has already made his Juvenil B (U-18) debut.

The youth is known for his physical abilities, and he is regarded as a formidable opponent. He is recognized for his speed and aerial ability. The 15-year-old stands 1.76 meters tall and is now on his way to join Spain's national team U17 squad.

Though the player is still very young, it will be important to observe if he continues to play for the Spanish national team or follows in his father's footsteps and joins the Brazilian team. Nonetheless, no matter where his steps take him, his future seems promising.
