Real Madrid usually get it right. don't they?

At least, as of late, they have been getting these things right. Real Madrid's transfer policy has rarely shown a miss as of late, but that doesn't mean all of them have been resounding successes straight off the bat.

Some signings take time to gel, like Kylian Mbappe did last season. Some, like Jude Bellingham, just show how good they are straight from the first match.

Dean Huijsen looks similar to the Englishman in that regard.

Dean Huijsen feels like a bargain for Real Madrid already

Huijsen has been one of Real Madrid's best players since he was signed in May. It has not been that long, but the way he has just fit like an absolute glove tells me that this is just the start.

Against WSG Tirol on Tuesday, Huijsen was once again magnificent. His passing was brilliant. His defensive interventions seem to have gone up a notch after his brilliant season with Bournemouth.

It is just the beginning, and yet, it feels like Huijsen has been around for a decade. It seems like Huijsen has been playing at this club for a long time, which is why he is playing like a seasoned veteran.

In reality, Huijsen has only just turned 20 years old a few months ago, and not long after did he join the club on a big money move from the Premier League.

Huijsen is going to be Real Madrid's centre-back for the next decade, and the club only have Bournemouth to thank. They paid almost 60 million euros to the English side, and in reality, even that seems like an absolute bargain.

Real Madrid have not been messing around this summer, but if every signing proves out to be as good as Huijsen has, even they would not believe just how incredible the window has been.

It is unlikely that every signing will be like Huijsen, but a man can dream.
