Real Madrid recently became the first team to achieve the highest income in a single fiscal year. The club has continuously been the most financially stable and successful in the world.
Despite the club's significant investment in player signings, net revenue from transfer earnings and costs is consistently positive.
Los Blancos not only set a record for income in a single year, but they are poised to raise it significantly with this new channel, which is slated to restart shortly.
Real Madrid concert hiatus is set to end
Real Madrid have recently completed a major restoration and remodeling project for the new Santiago Bernabeu. The club invested millions on a retractable roof, more room, and VIP boxes. One of the most significant additions to the new Bernabeu was the non-football activities.
Following the refurbishment, the club began to receive enormous concert and other proposals for the Santiago Bernabeu, bringing in extra revenue from the stadium other than football. Recently, American trend Taylor Swift staged a performance at the stadium that was nothing short of amazing in terms of the club's ambition and resources.
The new avenue was intended to generate millions, if not billions, in income for the club, but in September, the team was forced to cease operations owing to difficulties with excessive noise and a lack of sufficient sound proofing in the stadium.
Being in the center of Madrid, the club needed to guarantee that sound was covered for the local population, but the system was not yet in place. This resulted in the club suspending its concert activities. However, word has come that the avenue may reopen shortly.
According to Madrid's Ordinance for Protection Against Noise and Thermal Pollution, the club was supposed to maintain a decibel level of 55 before 11 p.m. and 45 after that. However, it appeared unfeasible for the stadium's major events.
However, according to Relevo, there appears to be a renewed confidence about the resumption of these activities. According to club sources, concerts and other non-football activities will resume at the Bernabeu by April of this year.
This optimism stems from a common understanding between the club and the local community about the importance of organizing such events at Santiago Bernabeu. A new deal between Los Blancos and the neighborhood residents is expected to be reached, stating that the number of activities at the stadium will be decreased, but they will almost certainly restart.
