Jose Mourinho has suddenly pushed hard for Real Madrid to sign Bernardo Silva, and with all the power Florentino Perez has given the returning legend after another abysmal season, the Portuguese manager has been able to successfully push for the Merengues to steal away Silva from under the noses of arch rivals Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

According to the latest information from Fabrizio Romano, the Manchester City star, now a free agent, is about to get the fabled Here We Go, as Silva and Madrid are at the final stages of agreeing to a proposed deal that would see the 31 year old Champions League winner stay at the Santiago Bernabeu through the 2027/28 season.

Here are the three biggest winners and losers on Real Madrid if the Bernardo Silva deal goes through.

Winner: Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho is the first and most obvious winner. He is the one who wanted to sign Bernardo Silva the most, as Real Madrid thought he was finished and no longer had the Man City man on their radar, even though he used to be a dream target of even Florentino Perez's. Mou wants players who will work hard and give their all to the team, and he thinks Silva is the perfect veteran to help him bring in that ethos.

Loser: Eduardo Camavinga

Eduardo Camavinga is on the verge of leaving Real Madrid, and adding a more intelligent, expereinced left footed center midfielder who can play the box to box role only makes the Frenchman more expendable.

Winner: Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham has spent the past two seasons yelling at his teammates in midfield for not working hard enough to support the team, and he often has to do the job of three players at once. He will love having a proven winner and character like Silva.

Loser: Kylian Mbappe

Mourinho is not going to stand for players who do not work or run for the team, and he shares that with Luis Enrique, Kylian Mbappe's old coach. Silva is the first step in Mourinho moving towards a more team mentality based on work rate, and that means Mbappe has to step up or step aside.

Winner: Trent Alexander-Arnold

A far more attacking right back than most, Trent Alexander-Arnold showed his genius in flashes in his first season at the Santiago Bernabeu. He needs more help from his forwards as far as tracking back goes, and Silva is literally the perfect partner for an attacking right back.

Loser: Brahim Diaz

Juventus are going hard after Brahim Diaz for a Serie A return, and whlie he wants to stay at Real Madrid, Los Blancos probably don't want him all that much. A decent squad player, Brahim just does not have the athletic ability to play on the wings for Real Madrid, nor the defensive work to be a midfielder. Silva could easily take his place in the squad.
