Real Madrid has their fair share of injury problems right now. Currently, their captain, Dani Carvajal, Antonio Rüdiger, Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Franco Mastantuono are all out of action.

Despite this, Los Blancos are still top of La Liga, ahead of bitter rivals Barcelona after 12 games. However, Xabi Alonso's side is only ahead by three points. They will need to have as many of their best players as possible available soon, if they are to win the division this season.

Fabrizio Romano posted on X: "Dean Huijsen has no serious injury as Real Madrid defender will be available against Elche. Same for (Eduardo) Camavinga and (Kylian) Mbappé, also expected to be fit later this week."

Huijsen arrived at the Bernabéu Stadium from AFC Bournemouth over the summer. He has made a solid start to his Real Madrid career, but has suffered from muscle problems this season. He had to miss out on international action with Spain recently due to this injury.

Camavinga suffered from an ankle injury at the start of the campaign. He has since featured regularly for Los Blancos, but had to miss out on featuring for France in the recent international break. One player who did star for France was Mbappé, who scored his 400th career goal against Ukraine.

Real Madrid need their best players available

Mbappé's brace in the 4-0 win was enough to ensure World Cup qualification for France. However, he then sat out his country's 3-1 victory over Azerbaijan. The Frenchman is one of Real Madrid's star players, and one Alonso cannot do without.

Real Madrid host Elche in La Liga this Saturday, with fixtures coming thick and fast as a Champions League fixture against Olympiacos is on the following Wednesday. Los Blancos are not faring so well in European soccer's premier competition after a shock 1-0 defeat to Liverpool.

It is still early days in the Champions League, but Los Blancos are seventh after four games. The top eight teams automatically qualify for the round of 16, so Alonso's side cannot afford any more slip-ups in the competition. Especially as they still have to face Jose Mourinho's Benfica, a star-studded AS Monaco, and Pep Guardiola's Manchester City in the tournament.

Alonso is in his first season at Real Madrid, but he failed to win the inaugural Club World Cup in its expanded format. Los Blancos are expected to win trophies every season, so the pressure is on their former player to deliver.
