It's safe to say that this season hasn't been the easiest for Vinicius Jr for several reasons. The Brazilian looks like a ghost of his former Ballon d'Or-level self during the 23/24 season, and this has led to a number of issues for both the player and the club.
Vinicius is enduring his worst goal drought in the last five years, failing to score or assist in his last 16 matches, which seems to be taking a toll on him mentally. We've seen his antics of arguing with opposing players and officials take a turn up a notch and even him lash out at Xabi Alonso at times, which has been a major black eye on the team this season.
These antics and drastic drop in form have unfourntanetly caused the Brazilian to become a liability at times, leading many to question what the future holds for Vinicius with only one year left on his contract. As usual there are a number of clubs keeping tabs on the Brazilian, with one in particular, who loves to sign players, preparing a mouth watering €160 million offer.
Vinicius Jr could join club that can't stop signing players in €160m deal
As reported by The Guardian, Chelsea is preparing a mega €160 million offer to sign Vinicius Jr, amid growing tension between the Brazilian and Madrid. Vini is out of contract in 2027, and Real Madrid could cash in on him to avoid the risk of losing him as a free agent.
Chelsea seems to make a superstar signing every single year, and even after signing two left-wingers this past summer (Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens), they are still looking to make the Brazilian the next superstar at Stamford Bridge for years to come.

Real Madrid has yet to make the final decision on Vini's future. Still, given the accumulation of unfortunate circumstances, it seems an exit for the Brazilian is more likely than not.
Los Blancos have until 2027 to make up their minds on what to do regarding Vinicius which is plenty of time to turn things around and come to an agreement over his future. But if things keep up this season how they have, the club would look foolish to turn down an offer of €160 million for a player with one year left on his contract, which is money the club could use to reinforce weaker areas of the squad that desperately need it.
