Over the last few years Real Madrid have been dealing with the injury bug. Consistently during the season a number of players are sidelined with injuries which has a major impact on how the team performs. However one positive that can be taken from this injury crisis is we've seen a number of Castilla products get called up and make their first team debuts. Players like Raul Asencio, Gonzalo Garcia, and Thiago Pitach just to name a few have all achieved their childhood dream of playing for Los Blancos, and there is one in particular who has been garnering interest from some of Europe's biggest teams.

As being reported by theMadridZone on X, Castilla full-back Victor Valdepenas has caught the eye on a number of teams across Europe, with many looking at the prospect of signing the youngster in the summer. These teams include Arsenal, Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, and Roma.

Valdepenas wanted by some of Europes biggest clubs

Valdepenas was handed his first team debut by Xabi Alonso back in December during Real's 2-1 Victory over Deportivo Alaves and impressed many during his one and only showing with the main team this season. He was also on the bench for Real's 2-1 loss to Manchester City in the Champions League league phase as well as the 3-2 victory over Talavera in the Copa del Rey but has yet to be called up again to the first team squad.

Valdepenas had to fill in for the injured Ferland Mendy and Alvaro Carreras and show his impressive quality on both sides of the ball. He showed his abilities to both attack and defend while playing as a left-back but is also versatile to play as a left-sided center-back. At 19-years-old he has load of potential and deserves to show what he can bring to the table not just at the youth level.

Of all the teams showing interest in Valdepenas the ones that would be the best for his development and make the most sense would be Frankfurt, Leverkusen, and Dormund. His play style fits the Bundesliga perfectly and would be the perfect league for the youngster to develop into a top class full-back as we saw with former Real Madrid academy product Achraf Hakimi in the Bundesliga.

The Spaniard is currently valued at around €5 million and signed a new contract with Real Madrid until 2029 following his impressive showing in December. Whether or not Valdepenas is looking for a move away from Castilla is unknown but we have seen before how effective a move to a bigger club can be for a youngster in search of regular first team minutes.
