Real Madrid star Endrick is loving life at Lyon after moving on loan to the French outfit earlier in the January transfer window. The Brazilian struggled for game time before making the move to the Groupama Stadium where he's immediately become a talisman.

Endrick bagged a superb winner on his debut in a 2-1 win over LOSC Lille in the French Cup's Round of 32. He followed that up with an assist in a 2-1 win against Brest in Ligue 1.

Lyon supporters have already fallen in love with the 19-year-old and will unfortunately feel the pain of watching an in-form loanee leave at the end of the season. But his early exploits in France suggest Madrid failed to get the best out of him.

Endrick stat sums up his Real Madrid struggles

Endrick made the right decision to head to Lyon ahead of the FIFA World Cup this summer when playing games beforehand is vital. He has been trusted by Paulo Fonseca to be a major player in Les Gones' team.

That's evidenced by the fact the Brazilian starlet has already earned more minutes for the French side in his first two games than he had at the Estadio Bernabeu. He's been handed 161 minutes of game time compared to 99 minutes with Los Blancos.

Endrick often cut a frustrated figure on the substitutes bench and couldn't play his way into Xabi Alonso's team. He made just one La Liga appearance amounting to 11 minutes and that was off the bench in a 4-0 win over Valencia in November.

While he started the season with a thigh problem, he spent 11 league games on the bench. It was a difficult period for the Brazilian who is expected to become a Selecao superstar once he reaches his peak.

Endrick also made history

Endrick's debut for Lyon was one to remember as he hit a 42nd minute winner from long distance that gave Belgian goalkeeper Arnaud Bodart no chance. But he also dazzled with the ball at his feet throughout.

The Brazil international's French league debut was another impressive showing and he set a new record. He completed eight dribble attempts, eclipsing the previous record of five in a Ligue 1 match.

Endrick's stunning start saw him awarded the Man of the Match award following the win against Brest. If his rich vein of form continues he could very well be playing his way into a starting role at Madrid come next season.
