Carlo Ancelotti is just a few months away from coaching his first World Cup. It is the first time the Italian has taken on an international role of this magnitude, but he began his coaching career as the assistant manager of the Italy national team.
Roberto Carlos, a World Cup winner himself, would have found it special to play under Carlo Ancelotti at the World Cup. Roberto Carlos never played under Carlo Ancelotti as his coach. However, Carlos knows Ancelotti well, and he is really excited to see him in this position; it's a first for Ancelotti, but Carlos credited his character and achievements as making him a good fit.
Carlos said, "Knowing [Carlo Ancelotti] personally and knowing he has done so much for football, it's really exciting to see him in this position. It's the first time he's doing something of this nature and with the experience of the players he has in his hands, it really will be something very special and obviously, as a Brazilian, I'm hoping Brazil wins. Regardless, it's very exciting to see him in this role."
Roberto Carlos is speaking like most Real Madrid fans would; he is one himself, after all. It is incredibly exciting to watch Carlo Ancelotti coach at this scale. He is one of the greatest coaches of all-time, and if anyone can ignite the flair that everybody knows Brazil has, it will be Don Carlo.

On his upcoming projects, Carlos said "I am a workoholic, but in a good way. Everything that I do, I do with pleasure. Currently, I'm working with Real Madrid, FIFA, a lot of things that's within the sports industry. I'm so happy with all the opportunities and I try to keep myself busy and do everything that I love whenever I get the opportunity."
