When looking at the Real Madrid squad, it is clear to see why many call it one of, if not the best squad in world football. The team is filled with world class talent at almost every position on the pitch with even some of the players on the bench being starting caliber players at other to European teams.

The area of the squad where this is most clear is in the attack. The amount of attacking talent at Real Madrid's disposal is mouth watering, from the starting trio of Vinicius Jr, Kylian Mbappe and Rodrygo, to the players waiting behind them like Arda Guler - who may well see his future in midfield - and Endrick.

Rodrygo has not been doing well

While having this many attackers seems like a great move by the club, it has also been somewhat of a problem. There is clearly a surplus of attacking players with some lacking in game time and others, primarily Rodrygo, suffering from an overall drop in form. These factors have caused the club to surprisingly consider selling one of their cornerstone attackers when the summer transfer window rolls around.

As reported by AS, Real Madrid could be looking to part ways with Rodrygo this summer in an effort to help generate funds for future transfers. This past weekend's Copa del Rey final may well have been a turning point in the Brazilian's career in the Spanish capital.

Rodrygo had a very good start to the season, often times being the better attacker compared to his teammates Vinicius Jr and Mbappe - both of whom are not able to consistently outperform Jude Bellingham, who is also a pseudo-attacker.

Real Madrid could use the money on different signings if they do sell Rodrygo

He was putting on man of the match performances consistently he has since however seen a massive drop in his production which could unfortunately make him the odd man out should the club look to cash in if a suitable offer comes in.

What the club would deem a suitable offer for Rodrygo remains unknown but we could assume it would easily be in excess of €150 million.

His departure obviously depends on his willingness to leave, which at the moment he seems very comfortable at Real Madrid. With Ancelotti's rumored departure in the summer perhaps a new coach is exactly what the Brazilian needs to find his top form once again.
