Real Madrid left Rodrygo out of their recent kit launch video, which has sent Real Madrid fans into a state of sheer confusion and dread.

Today, Real Madrid unveiled their beautiful home kit for the 2025/26 season to the world. While fans were met with excitement by the launch video, they were all asking the same question coming out of it.

Featured in the video are many of Real Madrid's star players, however, one key name was missing: Rodrygo.

Despite there being photos to emerge of Rodrygo in the new kit afterwards, Real Madrid fans were still confused to not see him in the kit throughout the video.

Rodrygo missing from Real Madrid kit launch video confuses fans

Real Madrid posted their kit launch video to X (formerly known as Twitter) and it featured the key squad players in harmony, including the likes of Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and even Arda Guler.

However, one player who was not featured in the video was Rodrygo. Considering he is one of the Real Madrid poster boys and a key part of the attack they're infamous for, this obviously sparked fan interest, for all the wrong reasons.

The comments were flooded with mentions of Rodrygo's name, so he had a much greater heat map in the replies, rather than the video itself.

One Arsenal fan was in the comments, noticing that Rordygo wasn't in the video. He even added a taunting phrase, to mock Real Madrid fans by saying, "get on it, Mik [Arteta]"

Another fan was in the comments saying that Rodrygo not being featured had to mean that he was leaving Real Madrid.

Look, Rodrygo is a wanted man. Real Madrid fans know this, and so does Xabi Alonso. If the Spanish coach envisions a place for the Brazilian in the team, then he'll keep him. If not, and this might seem harsh to say, but Real Madrid fans must trust the process.

Rodrygo has been an incredible servant to Real Madrid, scoring some important goals and salvaging their Champions League campaigns. His legacy is certainly intact, but that doesn't keep him safe in the new Xabi Alonso era.
