Real Madrid and Rodrygo are two names that have been on everybody's lips in the last few weeks.
Rodrygo had been rumored to being close to an exit from the club, but as of late, those rumors have died down and now it seems like he might stay after all.
The stay will not be for reasons that are expected with these sorts of situations - rather it is anything but that, in my opinion.
Be that as it may, Rodrygo is still training with Real Madrid, and he has been in both of Xabi Alonso's inaugural training sessions for the new season.
There was a difference in attire for Rodrygo on Monday
In those training sessions, fans noticed something different. Something that was not really expected, or announced.
It was seen that the Real Madrid man was wearing Adidas boots, which is obviously different from the Nikes he has been wearing for quite some time now.
There has been no announcement from the player or the company about the apparent union.
It is not a huge deal, not to us fans anyway. I mean, as long as he is scoring goals and playing well, Real Madrid fans do not have to worry about what boots he is wearing.
MadridXtra and The MadridZone noticed it on X, which sparked a lot of discussions around the topic.
But looking at it closer, he does play for Real Madrid, who are sponsored by Adidas, but he has done ads for Nike before, and like I said, there was nothing announced by either the brand or the player himself about the move.
Be that as it may, everything is down to money and personal preference.
If it is a one-off, there's no reason why it would be, but if it is, then fair enough. If Rodrygo feels comfortable in Adidas rather than Nike, so be it. As long as the player is feeling good in what he is wearing, that's all that matters to us fans.
