Real Madrid are planning a major squad overhaul this summer and have drawn up a long shopping list of their transfer targets. Pretty much every name you can imagine is on their list, however they have just been offered the chance to sign three Premier League players, and the club would be remiss to sit on their hands and pass up this offer.

As being reported by theMadridZone on X, super agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly offered Real Madrid a trifecta of Portuguese players this summer, with those players being Manchester City center-back Ruben Dias, Manchester City fullback/midfielder Matheus Nunes, and West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes. All three have been linked with possible transfers this window, with Real Madrid a potential destination of any of the three.

Real Madrid the new landing spot for Portuguese players?

From about 2019-2021 Wolves in the Premier League seemed to be the destination for all the Portuguese players but now it seems that could now be Real Madrid. Los Blancos have had their fair share of Portuguese stars with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe, and Luis Figo all legends of the Bernabeu, howver the club has been without any Portuguese players since Cristiano's departure in 2018, but that could all change this summer.

Real Madrid have been linked with a move for PSG midfielder Vitinha all summer, but with that transfer never to happen in a million years, signing any one of the three offered by Jorge Mendes is much more plausible. The newly arriving Jose Mourinho is reportedly demanding reinforcements in the backline and midfield, with Mateus Fernandes and Ruben Dias making all the sense in the world as potential targets.

Despite the arrival of Ibrahima Konate, Real are still looking to bring in another centra defender and Ruben Dias would make the perfect signing. He's still only 29-years-old which is still "prime years" of a center-back and with his physical play, pitch wide passing range, and winning mentality and experience, he would make a strong partner for Konate in Real Madrid's new look backline.

As for Mateus Fernandes, with West Ham getting relegated, the Premier League club are in for a fire sale, with Fernandes being the most in demand player. The 21-year-old had a breakout season with the Premier League side, and established himself as one of the top young midfielders, and given he is the type of deep laying, ball playing midfielder Real Madrid needs, they should hop on this offer from Jorge Mendes ASAP.

Ruben Dias currently carries a value of around €55 million, whereas Fernandes around €50 million. Some reports suggest West Ham could look for far more, but given their situation they may have to take what they can get so an offer of €50 million from Real Madrid would surely be enough to bring him in. Jose Mourinho is said to be a big fan of the two players and to be able to get both for under or around €100 million would be a solid start to the new Mourinho era rebuild.
