Jose Mourinho is about to be officially back in charge after Florentino Perez claims the elections at Real Madrid, as Enrique Riquelme has proven to be an underwhelming challenger in the end after his claims of Jurgen Klopp and Erling Haaland have rung hollow.

The Chosen One now, Mourinho has won before at Real Madrid in their darkest hour, and he is once again tasked with saving the team's fortunes by Florentino. According to a report from Diario AS, via Madrid Xtra, Mou plans on using the 4-2-3-1 formation at Real Madrid. Here is how his lineup could look next season, including sensible new transfers.

GK Thibaut Courtois

LB Josko Gvardiol

There's no need to explain Thibaut Courtois' inclusion, so let's get on with Josko Gvardiol. Though he can be a world-class center back, left backs are in more demand, and Gvardiol can be a great defensive option to help Madrid flex into a back three that allows Trent Alexander-Arnold (or Denzel Dumfries) to bomb further up the pitch in attack - not that Gvardiol is lacking on the ball himself.

CB Ibrahima Konate

CB Eder Militao

Eder Militao is one of the best center backs in the world and a slam dunk to start regardless of who Real Madrid sign when he is healthy. Ibrahima Konate is also world class, and after a rough season with Liverpool, he will be even better due to the motivation to prove himself to Madridistas.

RB Trent Alexander-Arnold

Denzel Dumfries is going to push Trent for everything he has, and while Trent could be utilized in the middle of the park, it makes more sense for Jose Mourinho to give the England international first rights at right back. He has what it takes.

CM Fede Valverde

CM Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid have a tough task in the defensive midfield, but part of the reason why Mourinho wants a 4-2-3-1 is possibly to play with two box to box midfielders alternating duties at the base and aggressively adding to the attack. If Real Madrid sign Gvardiol to add to Konate and a healthy Militao, that back three should be enough to support Real Madrid playing two 8's deep. And these two work so, so hard defensively.

AM Arda Guler

Arda Guler is Mourinho's new Mesut Ozil. He is the sleeper and the hidden key to Mou's success at Real Madrid with his vision and playmaking ability. He and Trent are the team's best passers.

LW Vinicius Junior

Vinicius Junior became a star under Carlo Ancelotti, but with the fiery Mourinho, the Brazilian international wil become a legend. Anyone sleeping on Vini under Mourinho is making a mistake.

ST Kylian Mbappe

For better or for worse, Kylian Mbappe is going to be leading the line for Real Madrid, and Florentino Perez is banking on Mou being the one who can finally get Mbappe to play up to his insane potential.

RW Michael Olise

Left footed right wingers are in scarce supply, and there are only two of those players who can break games open. Michael Olise is Florentino's new obsession, and if he can manage to sign him from Bayern Munich, he will have his answer on the right wing to Barcelona's Lamine Yamal and the last missing piece to building the world's most talented attack (at least on paper).
