One of Real Madrid's many transfer sagas has finally come to an end. After much speculation about another potential loan move, Endrick will be staying at Real Madrid this season and has been handed the legendary number nine shirt. The club and Jose Mourinho have have big plans in mind for the Brazilian this season after his stellar sx month loan spell at Lyon and see him being a major player in the team this season.
However, with players like Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr still guaranteed starters, and the arrival of Carlos Espi from Levante, even with the departure of Gonzalo Garcia, Endrick still faces an uphill battle for regular game time, and at still only 20-years-old, sitting on the bench doesn't do anything for his career so should he still struggle to get minutes, it wouldn't be ridiculous to think another loan spell could come by the time the January transfer window rolls around.
If Endrick hopes to develop, Real Madrid isn't the place for him
Where exactly Endrick would land on loan still remains somewhat unknown, but let's take a look at three destinations that would make the most sense for the striker if he hopes to take the next step in his career should minutes still be hard to come by at the Bernabeu this season.
1. Aston Villa
Unai Emery's side would be a great landing spot for the Brazilian and are said to be the team showing the most interest in bringing in Endrick on loan before the transfer window closes. Villa play a face paced, attacking forward style of play that suits Endrick perfectly and we've seen in the past Unai Emery's ability to take a youngster and develop them into a top player, like with Morgan Rogers last season. Villa currently have Ollie Watkins leading the line and following the departure of Rogers is their only main goal threat up top so adding Endrick to that frontline would be a great addition for the Premier League side and would be a great move for the Brazilian as he would easily slot in as a starter every weekend.
2. Roma
Now while Gasperini may not play the most free flowing, attacking style of football, and Serie A is a move defensive league than others, Roma would still be a solid landing spot for Endrick to get regular game time and develop as a player. Roma's only real target man up top is Donyell Malen, who would be a good veteran mentor for a young player like Endrick, and do be getting fed passes from Paulo Dybala is the dream of every striker looking to bag a solid goal scoring season. As mentioned earlier Serie A is typically move of a defensive league, but a player with the attacking skill of Endrick would no doubt still be able to produced goals on any given matchday.
3. Any big Bundesliga team (not Bayern Munich)
And finally we come to the Bundesliga, which fits Endrick's attacking style of play perfectly. Now while a move to Bayern would make sense strictly based off playing style, given the output of Harry Kane, Endrick wouldn't get the regular game time he's looking for, so let's rule Bayern out. Other Bundesliga sides like Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Stuttgart would all make sense for the Brazilian, with Stuttgart being an underrated landing spot. With midfield players like Angelo Stiller and Chema Andres, and attackers Jamie Leweling and Deniz Undav to link up with, Endrick would be a great addition up top and would slot in as the starting striker in a system where he would easily find a strong output.
