Trent recently told reporters of working with the former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur manager, via Madrid Xtra, “Training with Mourinho has been very good. I’ve always admired him, it’s a pleasure to work with him and his staff. He’s intense. The principles and expectations are very high, I’m looking forward to what he teaches us. He’ll help us win trophies this year.”
You can tell by the way he acts and the way he talks, Trent Alexander-Arnold is a natural born winner and a true Madridista, just like Jose Mourinho. He is out here working hard and responding well to Mou setting the highest standards, and it is players like this who relish the hard work and high expectations who tend to flourish at the Santiago Bernabeu,
So far, Trent is fitting in well, and he also has to be hyped about both Mou's track record with winning trophies and the fact that the manager signed Marc Cucurella with the full intent of unleashing the former Liverpool star even more as an attacking fullback.
