Vinicius Junior did not have the easiest of seasons at Real Madrid.
He had decent numbers, he scored goals here and there, but also had the toughest season since 2021 as he just was not able to impose himself the way Real Madrid fans wanted him to.
He has scored a great amount of goals and assists in every season since 2021, but this season, the way he played - especially after losing out on the Ballon d'Or - was not the level he has made Real Madrid fans grow accustomed to.
Now, though - it is a new competition. It is a new coach, with new ideas. There are new players in the squad, and although this is still the same season, a lot of it feels like a new era. It is weird to explain, but Real Madrid fans will understand.

On social media, a fan account commented on Vinicius Junior's social media post, saying "Treble this season", to which Vinicius Junior replied with "Yessir".
It was enough to send Real Madrid fans into euphoria. It did brilliant numbers for whoever pointed it out on social media.
TheMadridZone posted about it, and it got a mammoth 13,000 likes, whereas MadridXtra's post about it got 18,000 likes and 580,000 impressions. Big numbers for a big account, and it shows that this has sent Real Madrid fans into a frenzy.
That fabled treble is the one achievement Real Madrid have not attained yet. They want to - they are desperate for it - but it just has not happened yet.
However, like I said, it is a new era. It is a new coach, and in just two months' time, it will be a new season. Alonso will have a lot of time to actually work with the players without worrying about the tournament that is going to start 10 days into his tenure.
From there, we will see Real Madrid's best. Hopefully, Vinicius Junior will try to put his Ballon d'Or sorrows behind him and have another exceptional season. That is what Real Madrid fans need from him if they want to win the treble.
