The 2024-25 season exploded with injuries for Real Madrid, with nearly the entire squad being injured at some point or another.

This did not only cost Real Madrid in sporting terms for the very unsuccessful season they've had but also monetarily, as they are now forced to make necessary signings in view of the fragility of certain players.

Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao, two of the most valuable players, were hurt early in the season and faced a difficult recovery.

However, the two are almost ready to return. Consequently, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen were signed to bolster their positions.

Two Real Madrid players were surprisingly not injured the entire season

Out of the entire squad, Luka Modric and Arda Guler are the only players who were not injured in the entire length of this weary season.

Guler's name surprises because he was not at all fit last season. Due to meniscus damage and other muscle issues, he was sidelined for a total of nearly 5 months, which kept him out of 29 games for Los Blancos.

The youngster has played significantly more this season and has suffered no injuries, which is impressive. It will also be beneficial to his future with the club, as the new manager places a high value on his abilities.

Luka Modric, on the other hand, is nearly 40 years old and has logged an impressive 2700 minutes this season. The Croatian legend's fitness has never been questioned, in fact he has actually looked better than before this season.

At that age, Modric remains the most essential midfielder in the Real Madrid group. The players count on him, as does Xabi Alonso, who has already decided on his future.

Both Modric and Guler will be crucial players next season, with the latter anticipated to receive far more opportunities than he had under Carlo Ancelotti.

In light of that, a positive sign of fitness like this is always welcome.
