According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Dean Huijsen has already agreed to join Real Madrid. This is probably the fastest Real Madrid transfer I've ever witnessed. If I recall correctly, Real Madrid entered the scene on May 13th, and he is now a Real Madrid player as of today, May 16th.
But the question remains, when will the youngster play his first game for Real Madrid?
According to BBC Sport, Bournemouth have reached an agreement with Real Madrid to allow Huijsen to join the club before the Club World Cup in June, meaning that the center-back will be fit for Xabi Alonso to take to the United States.
The player has long declared his desire to join Real Madrid, which would have contributed significantly to the deal's brevity.
Real Madrid are planning to take a super team to the Club World Cup
Real Madrid's objectives with these early signings only mean one thing: they are traveling to the United States not simply to compete, but to win the Club World Cup.
Xabi Alonso is already expected to take over in June and will be Madrid's point guard in the competition.
Los Blancos have been pressing for Trent Alexander-Arnold to be able to represent Madrid in the competition as well, despite the fact that his contract with Liverpool expires on June 30th. Liverpool, on the other hand, do not appear to be delighted with the concept of releasing him early for an odd reason.
Huijsen is now expected to be prepared for Xabi as well. The Spanish manager was apparently highly important in this trade itself, and he also spoke directly with the player to persuade him of his project.
Real Madrid's plans are obvious. They don't want to wait until the start of the following season to refurbish and test the new squad; they sense a huge competition approaching and want to bring their stars with them.
