FIFA Club World Cup Final 2014: Ramos Scores the Opening Goal Leading to Win
Real Madrid won their first ever FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco, the December following their triumph over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League Final. In a matchup against Argentinian side San Lorenzo 2-0. Ramos kicked off the scoring for Los Blancos in the 39th minute with a crushing header past the sprawling San Lorenzo keeper. The ball came on a beautiful cross laid up by Toni Kroos.
The goal from Ramos solidified the Real superiority over the inferior Argentinian side and lead to a Real shutout and their first Club World Cup title.
It wasn’t a last minute goal from Ramos but it can be considered the game winner and it was vital in putting Real Madrid in front. Just another phenomenal play from the wizard with the headers Sergio Ramos.
