As Real Madrid prepare to travel to the outskirts of their own city to face Leganés, Ben Sundock tells you everything you need to know ahead of yet another crucial La Liga match for Los Blancos.
The Reverse Fixture
Real Madrid took care of business at home against the lower table side back on November 6th with two first half goals from Gareth Bale, and a decisive third from Alvaro Morata in the 76th minute to really put the match out of reach.
Los Blancos struggled at the back in the first half, with the usually unsound attacking of Leganés looking good, however, being thwarted by Keylor Navas time and time again.

Leganés’ one point of pride came from their ability to hit Madrid on the counter attack, creating several good chances. Unlike their opponents, Real Madrid used individual talent to create goal scoring opportunities (namely the Gareth Bale first goal) and were more effective finishing scoring their 3 goals on 7 shots on goal.
Zidane will not have the same lineup that he had in this win today however, as Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Toni Kroos will all rest ahead of the Madrid Derby this Saturday.
