COLUMBUS, OH - JULY 27: Aleix Febas

Real Madrid have been very busy during this summer’s transfer window, and they don’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Earlier today, the club announced that they have loaned out two young players: Burgui and Alexi Febas. Ben Sundock has the details.

Los Blancos, specifically president Florentino Perez, has been very busy in the transfer market thus far this summer. Since the beginning of June, Real have signed Theo Hernandez from Atletico Madrid, brought Jesus Vallejo back from loan in Germany, finalized a deal with Dani Ceballos, sold Diego Llorente to Real Sociedad, and loaned James Rodriguez out to FC Bayern Munich.

It’s been pretty crazy, to say the least.

Earlier today, rumors that attacking midfielder Burgui, and midfielder Aleix Febas were confirmed to have been loaned out to Deportivo Alaves and Sporting Zaragoza respectively for the upcoming season.

The 23-year-old, Burgui, has now been loaned out from the Spanish capital three seasons in a row, after spending last season with Sporting Gijón, and now being sent to Alaves.

The young player agreed to a two-year loan deal, however, Real Madrid installed a buyback clause for him just in case he is needed back at the club, or he develops into a potential first team player.

Burgui played in nearly every league match for Sporting during 2016/2017, starting 21 matches and featuring as a substitute in 11. Over these 32 matches, the youngster had an average match rating of 6.75, according to WhoScored, scoring 2 goals and adding 4 assists.

Real Madrid elected to keep Burgui in Spain, turning down loan offers from Wolfsburg, West Ham, and Hamburg. Apparently, Perez and manager Zinedine Zidane like using Deportivo as a place for their young talent to develop while getting plenty of first team playing time.

Aleix Febas on the other hand, who has been a very impressive player for the Castilla team, will play in the Segunda Division after playing with the Real Madrid B team for three years.

Febas will certainly get lots of playing time while with Zaragoza and could feature in the starting XI immediately upon his arrival.

It will be very interesting to see how both of these young players do while away from the Spanish capital and Real Madrid. We here at The Real Champs will be keeping a close eye on these two, and all of the Real Madrid loaned players throughout this coming season.
