James Rodriguez leaves Colombia squad early

After the most embarrassing flop of all time against South Korea a couple days ago, James Rodriguez has been sent back to Munich early.

Both James and Christian Zapata were sent back to their respective clubs after playing the full 90 minutes in Colombia’s 2-1 loss.

There are no indications as to the reason for him being sent home but it doesn’t appear to be anything serious.

Romelu Lukaku ties Belgian goalscoring record with brace against Mexico

“I was born for this,” Lukaku said after scoring two goals for the Belgium international team in a 3-3 draw with Mexico.

The two goals have pulled Romelu even with Belgium greats, Paul Van Himst and Bernard Voorhoof, with 30 goals in his career with the national team.

The crazy thing is Lukaku still has many years ahead to score more and more and be the sole leader in goals.
