Midfield

Luka Modric – 8.5

Luka was instrumental to the sweet rhythm of Madrid’s passing through the midfield and into the attack. The Croatian netted a pinpoint shot assisted by Ronaldo which was just out of the reach of Deporitovo’s goalkeeper. His goal was the icing on the cake but emphasized how fabulous his performance was.

Casemiro – 9

Casemiro was the Commander and Chief of Real Madrid’s midfield with a stellar performance. The defensive midfielder had eight tackles, the most of any player as well as two interceptions. He also passed with 92% pass accuracy and picked up an assist.

Toni Kroos – 8.5

Toni was industrious and had one of his best performances this season as he played alongside Luka Modric. The German had the most passes as he orchestrated the attack with balance and provided an assist for Gareth Bale’s second goal. Let’s hope Toni can stay in this form to help Madrid push on and chase titles.
