Injuries

Players are bound to get injured, especially at a big club such as Real Madrid. On the final day of March, as Madrid faced off against Las Palmas, Nacho picked up his first injury during his professional career.

Real Madrid’s medical staff assessed Nacho after the match and have diagnosed him with a hamstring muscle injury. While the severity or grade of the injury has not been released, it is assumed it is minor given that he traveled with the team to Italy for the UCL first leg.

Thankfully, this is Madrid’s only injury right now as the rest of the squad is healthy and ready to go. Nacho has featured in 36 matches this seasons with nearly 3,000 minutes of match play. The best case scenario would have Nacho back in a couple of weeks and ready to resume match play.
