Sergio Ramos, Marco Asensio and Mateo Kovacic hit milestones in their Real Madrid careers
Marco Asensio
Still in the very early stages of what is looking to be a promising career, Marco Asensio is the next generation of football. After his participation in the match against Malaga, Asensio has now played 50 matches with Real Madrid. Los Blancos heard of Marco Asensio through Spanish tennis star and Madridista, Rafael Nadal.
Marco spent much of the development stage of his career with Mallorca working his way up through the ranks. In 2015, Real Madrid made their move buying the youngster for a mere €3.5 million. In the following season, he was loaned out by the club to Espanyol to gain first-team minutes in La Liga. After just one season on loan, Asensio returned to his new found home.
