Sergio Ramos

Some wise words from the Captain as Real Madrid broke through the defense not once but twice as they won the match 2-1. Ramos was imperious in his position and showed once again how pivotal he is to the success of Real Madrid, especially in the Champions League.

El Capitan had three interceptions, five clearances, and two blocked shots. Sergio shared this Tweet in the locker room after the formidable win.

Marco Asensio

The young Spaniard came on at the start of the second-half and turned the game on its head. With a quick counter-attack, Asensio sprung onto the ball and put the ball in to Bayern’s goal with an incredible one time finish. Marco shared his appreciations for his team’s hard work and his eagerness to close out the tie come next Tuesday.

Cristiano Ronaldo

While the Portuguese striker’s goal-scoring streak ended he was there for his team and did the best he could to help out, even defensively. Ronaldo completed three tackles showing his true commitment to his team and ensuring success no matter what it takes.
