Paul Pogba to Real Madrid heats up following Raiola quotes

The transfer merry-go-round continues to spin for Real Madrid as players move on and new signings come in. However, after a wave of exits, one big entrance looks increasingly likely to happen in the form of Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman has been consistently linked with a move to Real throughout this window. Numerous reports have suggested that Zinedine Zidane has requested the services of Pogba personally to Florentino Perez as part of the rebuild at Real Madrid.
Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, recently dropped a massive hint that the World Cup winner’s future lies away from the North West of England. The midfielder has had something of a turbulent spell since returning to England, this season particularly being a tough one for the player. With Manchester United missing out on top four, the player has been criticised heavily by fans and pundits alike for his commitment and efforts when it comes to the club. Although, the Frenchman’s numbers from the season suggest his campaign was unfairly critiqued.

Pogba has already raised questions about his future earlier this summer when he stated that it could be time for a new challenge, this was after he discussed how difficult a season United had endured. Following these comments from the player, his manager, Mino Raiola has further stoked the fire. Speaking with British news outlet, The Times, Raiola said: “Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are.”
"“Everyone within the club, from the manager to the owner, knows Paul’s wishes.”"
It is no secret that Pogba has admiration for Real as a club. He eluded to as much when talking about them earlier this season, referring to them as ‘a dream club for every player.’ The player also is known to look up to current Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane.

The Real Madrid manager has also spoken highly of the talented midfielder, even telling the player that he is welcome to the club should he desire a move. However, the operation does not seem like one that will be straight-forward. United are reportedly looking for €120m for the player and Real are also reportedly asking that he take a wage-cut should he join the club. With Raiola now stating he wants to leave, will we see Paul Pogba donning the royal white jersey of Real Madrid?
