Real Madrid are scouring the world for the best young players, and they reportedly have interest in a prospect from another club in La Liga.

Los Blancos signed Flamengo attacking midfielder Reinier for a cool 30 million euros, as he joins Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior as two young stars from Brazil who could be superstars at Real Madrid. With interest in another Flamengo star in Lincoln, Florentino Perez is clearly still doing his best to identify top young talent in Brazil in the quest for the next global superstar.

But Los Merengues are also keeping close tabs on top players in Spain. They also signed young Malaga forward Hugo Vallejo, who has serious potential.

According to a report from MARCA, Real Madrid are “keeping tabs” on Espanyol prospect Kenneth Soler.

The 18-year-old winger currently plies his trade for the Espanyol U19 team, so Los Blancos are reportedly sending scouts to observe his games.

Soler is currently a wide man who is reportedly held in high regard by Real’s scouts for his pace, finishing, and work on set pieces. He’s also seen as a versatile player who, like Brahim Diaz, can play at any of the three forward positions in the Real Madrid system.

According to Transfermarkt, Soler’s current contract with Espanyol will run out at the end of the 2019-2020 season. That should make him far more affordable than the other prospects Real are monitoring, such as Lincoln and Benfica’s Rafael Brito. Both of those young players have release clauses hovering around 50 million euros, which isn’t much less than the approximately 60 million euros that Perez spent on accomplished Bundesliga striker Luka Jovic.

Soler is a name to keep in mind going forward, so add him to the long list of prospects Perez and Los Blancos seem to be monitoring heading into the summer of 2020. Real don’t play with a second striker, but Soler could be a good left wing prospect for the club.
