Forwards

Karim Benzema: 8/10

Benzema had his first off month in quite a while. He only scored two goal this month with most of Madrid’s goals coming from midfielders and defenders.

When Benzema struggles, Madrid’s attack seems to struggle as well, especially with Hazard out injured.

Gareth Bale: 6.5/10

Gareth played only two games this month and managed a goal against Unionistas in the Copa del Rey. Nothing impressive or noteworthy in his limited games.

Luka Jovic: 6.5/10

Jovic got quite a lot of minutes this month as compared to his previous months. He still lacks confidence and match rhythm which seems to be affecting him.

Zidane’s next task has to be reviving the Luka Jovic of Frankfurt.

Next. Zidane is key to luring Mbappe to Real Madrid. dark

Vinicius Jr.: 7/10

Vinicius is slowly returning to his pre-Ajax injury form. While he had limited appearances this month, every time he was on the pitch, he was a bright spark taking on players and creating chances.

That being said, his end product still needs polishing.

Rodrygo: 7/10

Rodrygo seems to have stagnated a little bit. While he received enough minutes this month, he didn’t have any noteworthy performances. It’s still important to remember he’s just 18.

Lucas Vazquez: 6/10

Three solid appearances and one goal for Lucas this month after returning from a broken toe is rather impressive.

As usual, there was nothing special from him but hardworking performances.

Brahim Diaz: 8/10

Two appearances and two goals in the Copa del Rey for Brahim in January. Both his appearances were quite electric and he deserves more minutes, but, he just doesn’t seem to be in Zidane’s plans.
