Forwards

Forward – Lionel Messi

There is not much more to add that is not said about Lionel Messi already. He is hands down the best player in the league. He started the season with an injury, but it did not take him long to catch up with the rest.

He is leading the list for top goalscorer with 19 goals and top assist provider with 12 assists.

Forward – Mikel Oyarzabal

Oyarzabal is having a fantastic season. His partnership with Odegaard is why the Basque side is one of the most entertaining teams to watch in La Liga this season. Real Sociedad will have to fight hard to keep either one of them at the club next season.

The 22-year-old has scored a healthy eight goals and six assists.

Forward – Karim Benzema
A hot start to the season saw Karim Benzema score five goals in four games. His excellent form continued through winter and made him the second-highest scorer behind Messi with 14 goals in La Liga.

He also has six assists, which takes his goal contribution to 20 for the 2019/20 La Liga season.
