FW Brahim Diaz

Former Manchester City forward Brahim Diaz rejected multiple loan opportunities in order to fight for his spot at Real Madrid, and he showed up excellently in the Copa del Rey during his limited opportunities.

Brahim received only 170 minutes of game time, but, like Mariano, he made the most of his limited opportunities with a goal and an assist. His natural talent is clear, and Brahim is another player who deserves more time. Look for him to finally accept a loan deal for the 2020-2021 season, as he has serious breakout potential if given consistent starts.

ST Luka Jovic

Luka Jovic received more playing time than Mariano Diaz and Brahim Diaz, but it was still surprising to most Real Madrid fans that the Serbian international only played 770 minutes.

Among all qualifying players, Jovic was third on the team in goal and assists per 90 minutes without including penalty kicks, per FBRef.com.

The 60 million euro man shined in his first season at the Bernabeu when he did play, providing a delicious backheel assist for Casemiro for the winning goal against Sevilla in the second half of the season. He has loads of talent and should develop into one of La Liga’s best strikers. Believe in Jovic.
