2. Rodrygo Goes vs Galatasaray

Rodrygo is Real Madrid’s 2nd highest goal scorer this season along with Sergio Ramos each scoring seven goals in all competitions. The 18 years old youngster has shown quite a bit of promise this season and a good eye for goal.

The youngster scored a hat-trick vs Galatasaray in the Champions League in the Santiago Bernabeu. The first of those three goals was special.

The Brazilian received a cross and controlled it beautifully with his chest, then changed direction with his right foot touch taking out two players before calmly slotting in the ball with a delicate finish with his left foot.

It was an incredible piece of skill, level-headedness, and magic from the 18-year-old on one of the biggest stages in football, which is why this goal takes the second spot on this list.

1. Toni Kroos vs Valencia

The best goal this season easily goes to the one scored by Toni Kroos vs Valencia in the Spanish Super Cup.

Facing Valencia in the semi-finals of the competition, Kroos headed over to the corner flag to take a corner when he noticed that the goalkeeper was off his line organizing his defense. Kroos took the chance and swung in the corner directly into the goalpost, with the keeper noticing it too late.

The last time a Real Madrid player scored such a goal was back in 1997, scored by Davor Suker in a league game. The rarity of this type of goal, the piece of brilliance, and Kroos’ presence of mind all make this the best goal of the season.
