Real Madrid CF Karim Benzema

During the first half of the 2019-2020 season, no player was more important to Real Madrid’s success than striker Karim Benzema. But even though his goals went dry in the second half of the season, Benzema still came up with the winning goods in February in El Derbi.

Benzema’s scoring output needs to improve in order for Real Madrid to win the league. He’s scored only twice in La Liga so far in 2020, but at full strength and with a better supporting cast of forwards now that Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio are returning, Benzema has a great chance of getting back on form.

He scored a brace against Eibar in November, and he should be able to find the back of the net on June 14, too.

Real Madrid RB Dani Carvajal

Dani Carvajal will do battle against Eibar’s Cote, who is averaging two tackles per game and 1.2 interceptions per game this season, per WhoScored.com. With the second-most assists on the team behind Benzema, Carvajal is having an even more impressive seasons for Los Blancos and is a crucial player in every game.

He’ll also be going up against La Liga veteran Fabian Orellana on that Eibar left side, which is clearly the opposition’s strong point. Orellana and Cote could give Carvajal some headaches on both ends of the pitch. Carvajal needs to avoid making any errors against Orellana.
